Women's jumper to knit
Entirely made with Top Hair yarn, a mixture of mohair and silk, this jumper is as warm as it is comfortable. Its puffy stitch gives it a very pleasant softness and an irresistible smoothness. It has a straight, quite loose fit with an attached neckline edge and a fixed shoulder tab with 2 buttons.
Easy to knit
The mohair cardigan is knitted with needles n°5 (8 US). If you are a knitting beginner and have taken your first steps with a scarf, you can start making this model. To make it, you need the following skills:
• Cast on stitches
• Knit stockinette stitch and ribs 1/1
• Increase, decrease and bind off stitches
• Sew buttons
If you have these techniques, no doubt you will succeed with this jumper. The following tutorial shows the technique of intermediate increases. A great help to make this model!
Customization
The basic model has a nice finish at the neckline with a double patch and a placket that underlines the left shoulder.
The placket can be customized with different buttons: real mother of pearl or dyed in the color of the yarn. You can also choose the color of your jumper: powder, pearl grey, navy blue or red.
The kit
The kit includes everything you need to make this jumper: the Top Hair yarn, the booklet with explanations on the size you requested, the mother-of-pearl buttons and the knitting needles. If you don't need the needles, check on "without needles".

Maintenance
Mohair is a precious wool that felts itself easily when heated and rubbed. Wash your jumper by hand in <30 degrees lukewarm water and a mild detergent. Rinse it generously without using softener. Squeeze without wringing and dry flat, moving the jumper while drying so as not to crease the knitting. Store flat your jumper in a dust-free, don’t hang it up. To keep it for a long time, avoid wearing it several days in a row.
