Cardigan Knitting kit

The Dormelle cardigan is a lovely ¾ sleeve cardigan. There is a straight cut that falls to the hips with set-in sleeves and a rounded neckline. The front is closed with a placket with small gold buttons. Fine stripes adorn the upper bust and sleeves. The Dormelle Cardigan is knitted in Calliope, a pure mercerized cotton yarn that has received GOTS certification. It is a fine, light and comfortable tape with a beautiful silky highlight. Wear this cardigan open over a vest top or closed like a jumper over jeans, canvas trousers or shorts.

Easy to knit

The Dormelle cardigan is knitted with needles n°3,5 (4 US). To make it, you need to know the basic knitting techniques:
    •    Knit knit and purl stitches
    •    Increase and decrease
    •    Pick up stitches
    •    Make buttonholes
    •    Bind off and assembly
If you know all these techniques, you can tackle this model without difficulties. Knitting beginners with a little experience will need help with the making of the buttonholes and to pick up stitches.

The knitting kit

The kit contains everything you need to make the Dormelle cardigan : cotton wools, gold yarn, small buttons, optional needles, a small sewing heart and the knitting pattern with step-by-step explanations for all sizes S, M, L and XL. Maintenance

Calliope yarn is a pure cotton, easy to care for. Wash your cardigan in the washing machine at 30 degrees on the color cycle. Rinse without adding softener and squeeze at <600 rpm. Dry flat in a ventilated area. You can also wash your cardigan by hand in 30 degrees water. Rinse with clean water and squeeze without wringing. Iron the cardigan under steam, without pulling on the edges. Store flat in an unconfined area and change places regularly to remove creases.
