Easy to knit
The Sapporo Cardigan is knitted with needles n°5 (8 US). It consists of a back, two half-lengths and two sleeves. The placket is attached. Although easy to knit, this model is not recommended for knit beginners. Indeed, in order to make a successful Sapporo cardigan, you need to know how to:
• Knit garter stitch and stockinette stitch
• Decrease stitches
• Make buttonholes
• Change the yarn in the process of knitting
• Bind off stitches
• Pick up stitches
• Assembly

The customization
The model is offered in Luxor with a choice of 2 colors (Plum or Midnight Blue) plus the colors of the Vega yarn colors (gold or platinum) for the stripes. If you like gold, choose gold, if you prefer silver, choose platinum, which is a gold/silver mix. With buttons, personalize your cardigan: mother-of-pearl or gold, the choice is yours! The real mother-of-pearl buttons have a silvery highlight that goes perfectly with the platinum yarn. Choose the size that suits you (S, M, L or XL).
The kit
The kit contains everything you need to make the cardigan: the yarns in the chosen color, the 6 buttons, the knitting needles, and the accompanying booklet with the pattern in all sizes from S to XL, explained step by step. If you don't need the needles, don’t forget to select "without needles".
Maintenance
The Sapporo cardigan is easy to care for. You can wash it by hand with water 40 degrees or in the washing machine, wool cycle. Avoid the tumble-dry. Dry flat in a well-ventilated area. Iron under the steam at 110 degrees. Store flat in a dust-free area.
