A fancy stitch cardigan
Very pleasant to wear, the Voss cardigan is a must-have for any wardrobe. Its refined cut brings a lot of feminine elegance to the silhouette.
The cardigan is knitted in Top Hair, a yarn made of mohair and silk. The naturally puffy stitch, reinforced by the fancy stitch, makes it a warm, light and ultra-soft knit. The Voss cardigan has a straight cut that falls to the hips, with straight sleeves and a plunging opening at the front, in the shape of a heart. The buttons, dyed in the color of the yarn, give it a very nice finish. Wear this cardigan with high-waisted trousers or a straight skirt and a top with a rounded collar. A lace trim can enhance the chic of a very feminine outfit.
Easy to knit
The Voss Cardigan is knitted with needles n°5 (8 US) in fancy stitch. This model has been designed for those who want to start with fancy stitches, without facing insurmountable difficulties! To knit this cardigan, you need to know the following techniques:

Customization
The Voss cardigan is available in several colors: powder, pearl, red, midnight blue, white, black, purple. Choose the color and the size you want to knit. If you have any doubt on the size to select, visit our size guide.
The kit
The kit contains everything you need to make the Voss cardigan: yarn in the chosen color, needles n°5 (8 US), buttons dyed in the color of the yarn and the accompanying booklet with step-by-step explanations. If you don't need the needles, check on "without needles".
You will also need some additional tools, such as a pair of scissors, a tape measure and a wool needle. These tools are not in the kit, but you can buy them on our Haberdashery page.
Maintenance
To keep your cardigan for a long time, air it out often and space out the washings. Avoid wearing it several days in a row. Wash your cardigan by hand with lukewarm water (30 degrees) with a wool detergent. Rinse it with clean water without adding softener. Squeeze out to excess water, without wringing, and dry flat. Generally, mohair cannot be ironed, but you can use the steam of the iron, at a low temperature (wool setting), to shape the knit.
