Cotton jumper to knit
The Marlin Jumper is a revisited striped jersey with a wide boat neckline, a straight cut and set-in sleeves. Its originality lies in the openwork pattern forming rhombuses knitted all over the jumper. Light and comfortable, this model is ideal for summer. The Calliope yarn, a pure cotton, gives it a silky aspect, soft to touch. Wear this striped jersey with jeans or light canvas trousers in a color coordinated way. In beach mode, you can wear the jumper over a swimsuit or wear it next to the skin.
Easy to knit
The Marlin Jumper is knitted with needles n°3,5 (4 US). The fancy openwork stitch combines yarn over and decreases on all odd rows. It is not difficult, but requires some attention. The pattern is aimed at intermediate level knitters. To knit the jumper, you need to know the following techniques:
• Knit knit and purl stitches
• Increase and decrease stitches
• Make continuous stitches
• Pick up stitches and assembly
If you know these techniques, you can go for this project. To learn how to knit eyelet patterns, follow our tutorial on our blog, section "How to knit eyelet patterns".
The customization
Calliope yarn is available in 4 colors: mother of pearl, powder pink, pale green and grey. Choose the color that suits you. To select your size, check your measurements and refer to our size guide.
The kit
Everything you need is included in the kit: cotton wools, knitting needles, the Made with Love heart to sew and the knitting pattern with all explanations and dimensional drawings for sizes S, M, L and XL. If you don't need the needles, check on "without needles".
