Alpaca yarn

The Celeste yarn is made up of 92 % of superfine alpaca, and 8 % silk. With the help of the latest spinning technologies, this yarn was made from a medium-sized silk core which has been scoured to give it its light, puffy, wispy appearance, and above all, its irresistible softness. The many strands of alpaca hair trap the air, enhancing the thermal quality of the yarn. Easy and pleasant to knit, this yarn rises quickly.

Sample

To make a sample, cast on at least 25 stitches with 5 mm knitting needles and knit for about 20 rows. Measure outside the selvedge.

Care

Alpaca yarn is a precious fibre that requires particular care. We recommend handwashing your garments or to use a wool cycle on a machine with cradle wash technology. Remove excess water by repeatedly squeezing the knit without ever wringing. Leave it to dry flat in a ventilated location.
