Women Jumper Knitting kit
The Janthine striped jersey is a classic revisited with its asymmetrical stripes and its contrasting color band at the chest. This jumper is knitted in Diam, a 100% superfine merino yarn that combines many qualities: comfort, softness, lightness and warmth.
The striped jersey has a straight cut that falls to the hips, with straight sleeves and a slightly flared neckline.
Wear the striped jersey with plain canvas trousers, jeans or shorts.
Easy to knit
The Janthine striped jersey is knitted with needles n°3,5 (4 US). To knit it, you need to know the basic knitting techniques:
• Knit knit and purl stitches
• Increase and decrease
• Pick up stitches on the neckline
• Bind off and assembly
If you know these techniques, you can go for this project. Knitting beginners with a little experience can tackle this pattern, although they will need help with the finishing touches.

The knitting kit
The kit contains everything you need to make the striped jersey: wool balls, optional knitting needles, a small heart to sew and the knitting pattern in all sizes from S to XL. If you want the needles in your kit, click on "n°3,5 (4 US)", if you don't want them choose "without needles".
To make the striped jersey, you will also need some tools: a pair of scissors, a tape measure, a wool needle and 2 stitch holders for the neckline. These tools are on sale on our "Haberdashery" page.
Maintenance
The Diam yarn is a natural wool that you can wash by hand at a temperature of <30 degrees or in the washing machine if it has a balance "wool" program. Use little detergent and never softener.
Dry flat in a ventilated area, then iron under the steam in the wool position.

It is recommended to not wear the same jumper for several days in a row and to space out the washings. If you notice a bad smell, simply air the jumper for a few hours.
