Armeria Jumper to knit
Jumper Knitting kit
Knitted all in Top Hair (mohair wool and silk), the Arméria Jumper is a trendy, loose and comfortable model. The kit contains wool balls, optional knitting needles, a small heart to sew and the knitting pattern for sizes S to XL.
The measurements of our model correspond to a size M. The height of the jumper is 52 cm for this size. The sweater presented is knitted in hazelnut color.
Mohair Jumper
The Arméria Jumper is a bundle of softness with its 100% natural wool composed of kid mohair and silk. It has a loose fit that falls to the waist, with a rounded neckline double-layered edging and straight sleeves. Wear the Arméria Sweater alone or over a shirt with high-waisted wide-leg pants (jeans or dressier pants) or a pencil skirt.
How to knit the jumper?
The Arméria Jumper is knitted with needles n°5 (8 US). To knit it, you need to know the basic knitting techniques:
• Knit knit and purl stitches
• Increase and decrease
• Pick up stitches and assembly
If you have these techniques, this pattern is available to you. Knitting beginners with a little experience will need help with the neckline stitches.
Customize your jumper
Top Hair wool is available in many colors: choose the one that suits you best. If necessary, ask for a gauge to check your choice. Then select your size using our size guide to determine your size.
The knitting kit
The kit contains everything you need to make the Arméria Jumper: balls of mohair wool in the chosen color, optional knitting needles, a heart-shaped sequin to sew on to sign your creation and the knitting pattern with all the explanations for sizes S, M, L and XL. To make the jumper, you will also need a few tools, such as a pair of scissors, a tape measure, two stitch holders (optional) and a wool needle for the assembly. Visit our Haberdashery page to buy them.
The maintenance of mohair
Keep your jumper for a long time by giving it the best care. Space out the washings and use little detergent. If you notice a bad smell, don’t wash it but simply air the jumper for a few hours. In case of a stain, wash your jumper by hand or in the machine if it has a wool balance cycle. Use a constant temperature water <30 degrees for washing and rinsing. Do not use softener and squeeze without wringing. Dry flat in a well-ventilated area. Store flat in an unconfined area and change places regularly to avoid creasing. Mohair cannot be ironed.
