Ready-to-knit mohair sweater
The Solden jumper has a very sharp and striking design. The contrast between the two colours draws a line at the waist that echoes the ones on the sleeves. The super-soft and natural Top Hair yarn—made up of mohair and silk—is knitted with big needles for this design and gives voluminous, netted, fuzzy stitches. This jumper has a straight and loose cut, with drop sleeves and a round neck. Wear it with pants, a skirt, or leather shorts. You can also blouse it slightly above the waist to highlight the colour contrast.
Easy to knit
The Solden in knitted with 6 mm needles for the body and 5 mm for the border of the neck. This knitting pattern is approachable for beginners with a bit of experience. You must know the following techniques to knit it:
- Knit and purl stitches
- Decrease, increase, and cast off stitches
- Pick up stitches
- Assemble
You can knit this piece if you know all these techniques or wish to practice them.
Customisation
The Solden is available in several colour pairs: black/white, navy blue/white, red/white, purple/white, and black/pearl grey. The lighter yarn is used for the top part of the jumper while the darker shade makes the bottom strip. Pick the colour combination you like best. If you want a different colour pair among the Top Hair yarn colour we offer, you can order a random combination. Just leave us a message stating your choice. Select the size that fits you. Refer to our size guide if necessary.
The knitting kit
The kit comes with everything you need to knit the Solden jumper: balls of yarn in the 2 select colours, knitting needles, and a knitting pattern for sizes S, M, L, and XL. Click on “no needles” if you don’t need any.
Care
Top Hair is a high-end 100 % natural yarn. Here are a few tips to help you keep your jumper in good shape. Wash it by hand with a 30°C water or in the washer on a wool cycle. Use only a little detergent. Rinse with clear water at the same temperature. Remove excess water without wringing and dry it in a ventilated space. Spread out washes, instead air your jumper to rid it of smells. Store it flat in an unconfined space. For more information, please refer to our care guide.
