This medium thickness knitting yarn is made with a blend of superfine alpaca (22 %), merino (14 %), and cotton (64 %). Its softness comes from the many fine alpaca hairs that gives its fullness. This wool is very pleasant to knit and has a perfect hold thanks to its mesh structure. The mottled colour has a streak of natural shade.
How many balls do you need?
To knit a sweater for sizes S or M, you will need about 400 g of yarn for sizes S or M, or somewhere between 450 and 500 for L and or XL.
For a regular beanie, you will need a single ball of yarn, or 50 g.
A 10 x 10 cm square of stocking stitches knitted with 5 mm needles corresponds to 17 stitches and 20 rows.
To make a sample, cast on at least 30 stitches and measure outside the selvedge.
We recommend handwashing your garments or to use a wool cycle. Press the knit to remove excess water but do not wring. Leave it to dry flat in a ventilated location. To shape your knit, use an iron on low heat but do not press it too hard.
