The Royal Puno is amongst the softest yarns. This luxury yarn is made up of 60 % of superfine alpaca, and 40 % silk. Twenty-five g balls of yarn for 4 mm knitting needles.
Luxury knitting yarn
The Royal Puno is a premium quality knitting yarn made with the finest alpaca fibres. The added 40 % of silk makes it very sturdy and durable yet delicate and silky. This yarn is 100 % natural, slightly fuzzy, and can be knitted into well-defined stitches. It is comfortable, pleasant against the skin, and has a perfect hold. This yarn is perfect to knit stocking or fancy stitches.
You will need 10 to 12 balls of Royal Puno to make size S or M women’s sweater. Add 2 extra balls for sizes L and XL.
Sample
A square of Royal Puno stocking stitches knitted with 4 mm needles corresponds to 24 stitches and 28 rows. To make a sample, cast on at least 32 stitches and knit about 36 rows to measure outside the selvedge.
Care
The Royal Puno is a yarn that requires some care to keep in perfect condition for a long time. Wash your knit by hand or in a machine with cradle wash technology for wool. The water for the wash and the rinse must remain at a constant temperature of no more than 30°C. Use little detergent and rinse with clear water without adding detergents. Remove excess water without wringing. Leave to dry on flat in a ventilated location.
Simply hang your knit on the backrest of a chair to rid it of potential creases. You may also iron your garment on a low heat setting. For more information, please refer to our care guide.
