Mercerised cotton

The Superfoft is a pure mercerised cotton, that is as silky smooth as it is sturdy and thick. It takes the shape of flat and soft ribbon and can be knitted into even, well-defined stitches, perfect for fancy and openwork stitches.
This cotton knitting yarn is designed for summer clothes (tank tops and light jumpers) knitted with 5 or 6 mm needles. Because it is so stretching resistant, it works wonders for knitted or crocheted bags, pouches, and belts.

Knitting gauge

A square of stocking stitches knitted with 6 mm needles corresponds to 17 stitches and 23 rows.
To knit a sample with the Supersoft, cast on 35 stitches and knit garter stitches for 4 rows, then knit 15 cm of stocking stitches. Measure outside the selvedge.

Care

The Supersoft is easy to care for. Wash it by hand or in a washer on the colour setting at 40°C, and rinse with clear water without using softeners. Leave to dry flat. Refrain from tumble drying. Iron your garment on medium heat.
