Women Jumper in kit
The Salix Jumper combines all the qualities you want in a summer cloth: it is light, comfortable to wear, elegant and stylish. The fancy stitch forms small floral bouquets that catch the light. The jumper has a straight, loose fit that falls to the hips, with straight sleeves that are tightened at the wrist to form a balloon. The neckline is wide and plunging, with a rounded shape. Wear the Salix Jumper over canvas trousers, a skirt or jeans. It will look great in summer.
Easy to knit
The Salix Jumper is knitted in Calliope, a pure organic cotton yarn and needles n°3.5 (4 US). To knit it, you need to know the basic knitting techniques:
• Knit knit and purl stitches
• Knit stitches together
• Increase and decrease
• Pick up stitches
• Assembly
If you are familiar with these knitting techniques, you can go for this project. Knitting beginners can practice the fancy stitch before tackling the pattern. However, they will need help if they want to go further.
Customization
Calliope yarn is available in various pastel colors. Choose the color that suits you. Select your size helping you with the size guide, if necessary.
The knitting kit
The kit contains everything you need to make the Salix Jumper: the Calliope balls, the optional knitting needles, a little heart to sew on the side of the jumper and the knitting pattern with step-by-step explanations for sizes S, M, L and XL. If you don't want the needles, click on "without needles". To knit this jumper, you will always need some tools, such as a pair of scissors, a tape measure and a wool needle for assembly and two stitch holders. The maintenance of the jumper
Calliope yarn is easy to care for. Wash it in the washing machine on the "color" cycle with a mild detergent, avoiding mixing it with textiles that may bleed. Rinse with clean water without adding softener. Dry flat in a ventilated area. Iron under steam (2 points) and leave to dry in place.
