The Horten Jumper is knitted in baby alpaca and cotton, a soft and warm yarn. A loose fit that is easy to wear, embellished with an openwork pattern on the front of the knit. The kit contains wool balls, knitting needles and the pattern in all sizes from S to XL.

The measurements of our model correspond to a size M. The height of the jumper is 58 cm for the size M.
Jumper in alpaca kit
The Horten jumper is a safe bet. It has a loose, straight shape that falls to the hips, three-quarter length sleeves and an openwork pattern on the front that slims the waist. Knit in Luxor, a knitting yarn made from baby alpaca, cotton and merino, this jumper will give you a soft warmth in winter. Wear it with skirt or trousers, alone or with an under-sweater and match colors.
Easy to knit
The Horten Jumper is knitted with needles n°5 (8 US). To make it, you need to know the following techniques:
• Knit purl and knit stitches
• Decrease and bind off stitches
• Make continuous stitches
• Assembly
If you know these techniques, you can succeed this jumper. If you have recently started knitting and want to improve your technique, you can start with this model, it will allow you to learn about continuous stitch (explained in the pattern).
The customization
Luxor yarn is available in 4 colors: navy blue, plum, mottled brown and natural. Choose the color that suits you. The pattern is available in all sizes from S to XL. Select your size. If necessary, help you with the size guide.
Would you like a longer jumper that covers the hips? Just order an extra ball of the same color.
The kit
The kit contains everything you need to make the Horten jumper: the wool balls in the chosen color and the quantity corresponding to the selected size, the knitting needles and the pattern explained step by step. If you don't need the needles, check on "without needles".
Maintenance
The Horten jumper is easy to care for. Wash your jumper by hand at 30 degrees or in the washing machine, “wool” cycle. Rinse with clean water without adding softener. Squeeze without wringing and dry preferably flat in a ventilated area. If necessary, iron under steam. To keep your jumper for a long time, space out the washings and use little detergent. If your jumper has a bad smell, don’t wash it but simply air it for a few hours. Store your jumper away from dust, flat (not on a hanger) in an unconfined area.
