Jumper Knitting kit
The Vogel Jumper is a dressy and distinguished model at the same time. It has a loose fit with straight sleeves and a rounded, slightly flared neckline. The jumper falls past the hips. The thick neckline edge emphasizes the upper bust and gives the cloth a hold. Knit in Top Hair, a soft wool made from kid mohair and silk, the Vogel Jumper is pleasant to touch and light. Small dots embroidered with a shiny yarn (Stella) give this model its originality.
Wear the Vogel jumper for parties or special occasions, with leather trousers, leggings or a pencil skirt with a pretty belt.
How to knit the jumper?
The Vogel Jumper is knitted with needles n°5 (8 US). To knit it, you need to know the basic knitting techniques:
• Knit knit and purl stitches
• Increase and decrease
• Pick up stitches
• Bind off and assembly
If you know these techniques or wish to explore them further, you can go for this project. You will also need to embroider the small dots. If you are a knit beginner, you will need help to pick up stitches for the neckline and assembly.

The knitting kit
Te kit contains everything you need to make the Vogel Jumper: balls of Top Hair wool, a ball of Stella shiny yarn, optional knitting needles, a small 24-carat gold sewing heart to sign your work and the knitting pattern with step-by-step explanations and dimensional drawings for sizes S, M, L and XL.
You will also need a few tools, such as a pair of scissors, a tape measure, a wool needle for assembly and embroidery and some marking rings to mark where to embroider the dots. Visit our Haberdashery page if you need to complete your accessories.
Maintenance of the jumper
Top Hair wool is a 100% up-market natural yarn. Take care of your jumper to keep it in perfect condition for a long time. Space out the washings and use a mild detergent. If you notice a bad smell, simply air your jumper for a few hours.
Hand wash or machine wash if it has a wool balance cycle. Use water at a constant temperature for washing and rinsing <30 degrees. Do not rub the wool, but leave it to soak and press the detergent into it. Rinse without using softener and squeeze without wringing. Dry flat in a well-ventilated area. Store away from dust in an unconfined area and change places regularly to avoid creasing.
