The Festuca scarf is an original model with a beautiful fancy stitch, very soft and warm, thanks to its natural wool made of baby alpaca and silk. It also has beautiful silky reflections that are enhanced by the stitch. This model completes the outfit and gives it a touch of fantasy and elegance.

How to knit the scarf?

The Festuca scarf is knitted with n°4 needles. To knit it, you need to know the following techniques:

• Knit stitches from the right side and from the left side
• Knit single and double stitches

Fancy stitch is knitted over a dozen rows. It is not difficult and can be learnt by a beginner knitter who already has some experience. The Festuca scarf is an ideal model for practising overlock techniques and learning to knit fancy stitches.

Personalise your scarf

Royal Puno wool is available in different colours. Choose the one that suits you best. If you want to make your scarf longer, you can buy an extra ball of yarn and you will get a 1.60 m long scarf.

Contents of the kit

The kit contains everything you need to make the scarf: the Royal Puno wool balls, the optional knitting needles and the pattern with step-by-step instructions.

Care

Wash your scarf by hand or in the washing machine if it has a wool programme. Use little detergent and water at a constant temperature <30°C. Wash without rubbing and rinse with clear water without adding fabric softener. Squeeze without wringing and dry in a well-ventilated area.
Iron under the steam of the iron in the 2 point position using a pattemouille.
