Women's knitted jumper
The Alcéa jumper is a trendy, easy-going model. Its delicate finishings give it all its elegance. It has a straight cut with set-in sleeves and a blouse neckline, the placket of which is buttoned over a few centimetres. The fancy ribbed trims add relief to the whole. The jumper is made of Diam, a 100% natural merino wool that is very pleasant to the touch.
Wear the Alcéa Sweater with a straight skirt, straight trousers or jeans.
How to knit the jumper?
The Alcéa Sweater is knitted with n°3,5 needles (circular needles n°3,5 are necessary for the neck). To make it, you need to know the basic knitting techniques:
- Knit knit and purl stitches
- Increasing and decreasing
- Knitting twisted stitches
- Pick up stitches
- Bind off and assembly
If you know these techniques, you can start with this pattern. Knitting beginners with some experience will benefit from help with picking up stitches and assembly.
Customisation
Diam wool is available in several colours. Choose the one you want to knit. Then select the size with the help of the size guide if necessary.
The knitting kit
The kit contains everything you need to make the Alcéa Sweater: balls of merino wool in the selected colour, mother-of-pearl buttons dyed in the colour of the wool, optional knitting needles, a small 24-carat gold heart to be sewn onto the jumper and the knitting pattern with step-by-step explanations for all sizes from S to XL
Care
To keep your jumper for a long time, follow all the care instructions carefully. Space out the washings and use little detergent. Sweaty odours disappear by airing out your jumper. Do not wear it for several days in a row, even if you really like it! But let it rest for a few days before putting it back on.
Wash your jumper by hand or in the washing machine if it has a wool balance programme. The wash and rinse water should be a constant <30°C. Spin without wringing or machine wash at <600 rpm. Dry flat in a well-ventilated area.
Iron under steam in 2 point position with the help of a damp cloth.
Store flat in an unconfined area and change regularly to avoid creasing.
