Sleeveless jumper to knit
The Dillénia tank top is an easy-going jumper: its loose fit that falls to the hips means it can be worn next to the skin or over a blouse. The V-neckline with its wide neckline is very fashionable. The jumper is knitted in Heritage, a 100% natural alpaca wool that has not been dyed. This warm and soft wool has a very light pile.
How to knit the tank top?
The Dillénia Sweater is knitted with n°4,5 needles and n°4 for the neckline. It is quick and easy to make if you know the basic knitting techniques:
- Knit and purl stitches
- Increase and decrease stitches
- Pick up stitches
- Cast off and assemble
Knitting beginners who already have some experience will benefit from getting help with the neckline.
Customise your sweater
Heritage wool is available in the colours of alpaca fleece. Choose the colour that suits you and then select the size you wish to knit. If necessary, use our size guide to determine the size.
The knitting kit
The kit contains everything you need to knit the Dillénia Sweater: balls of Heritage wool in the selected colour, optional knitting needles (n°5 straight and n°4.5 circular), a 24 karats finely gilded decorative heart charm, and a knitting pattern with step-by-step instructions and annotated figures for sizes S, M, L, and XL.
You will also need a few extra tools to knit this design such as a pair of scissors, a tape measure, a yarn needle, and one stitch holder (optional). Visit our haberdashery page to purchase your knitting supplies.
How to care for your jumper?
Take good care of your jumper to keep it for longer. Spread out washes and refrain from wearing it several days in a row. Air your sweater to rid it of smells. Wash it by hand or in the washer on a handwash cycle. The water temperature must remain constant and under 30°C. Use gentle washing products in small quantities. Rinse with clear water and do not use softeners. Remove excess water without wringing or spin dry your sweater in the washer under 600 rpm. Leave it to dry on a flat surface in a well-ventilated location but do not put in the dryer. Store in an unconfined space, away from dust.
